Safety Information

• Before connecting the device to your power supply, please ensure that the

supply voltage stated on the rating plate is compatible with your mains

supply.

•

Check the electric underblanket regularly for any signs of wear or damage. If any

signs occur, it must be returned and inspected by the manufacturer or an

authorised service centre before you use it again.

• Only use the blanket for the purpose described in these Instruction manual.

• Do not use the heated underblanket with small children or persons who are

disabled, in need of care or insensitive to heat.

• This device is not designed to be used by persons (including children) with

limited physical, sensory or mental abilities, or by persons with insufficient

experience and/or knowledge, unless under observation by a person

responsible for their safety, or unless they have been instructed in the use of

the device.

• Children must be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the

device.

•

Four fastening straps are located on the lengths of the electric underblanket. Use

these straps to attach the electric underblanket to the mattress using a suitable

band or cord. Make sure that the electric underblanket is firmly strapped to the

mattress in both directions and that it will not crease while it is being used. Check

it is in the correct position before going to bed.

• During use, the control switch and lead must not be placed on or under the

blanket or be otherwise covered in any way.

•

Before using it on an adjustable bed, make sure that the power cable and the

underblanket do not get caught in the hinges or get crumpled when making

adjustments.

• No safety pins or other pointed or sharp objects should be attached to the

underblanket or stuck into it.

• Never leave the blanket on when unattended.

• The device is only for private use and is not to be used in hospitals.

• Never handle a blanket that has fallen into water. Unplug it from the mains

outlet immediately.

• Do not use the blanket in a damp or humid environment or if the blanket

itself is damp. You may only use it again once it is completely dry.

• Never expose the control switch or leads to moisture of any kind.

• Keep the mains lead away from hot surfaces.

• Never carry, pull or twist the blanket by the mains lead and do not allow the

lead to become tangled or snagged.

• Do not repair the underblanket yourself in the event of damage or

malfunction. Return the faulty heated underblanket to your dealer. Only

have repairs carried out by an authorized specialist dealer or suitably

qualified personnel.

• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its

service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.

•

Let the heated underblanket cool down completely before folding and storing

it. Do not fold it too
